I came across a truly fabulous vintage tribal metal collar in an antiqued silver tone that is worn through to the warmer toned base metal in places. This collar has an absolutely gorgeous architectural design that I LOVE! I've had a few friends try it on - with different body types and it always lies very nicely and I find it to be very comfortable (I'm a bit heavy, myself and don't find it constricting in any way). It also has all of its original bells and they have a lovely, sweet tinkle to them. The collar was decorated with a shallow etched design that was not particularly remarkable or striking and as I picked it up, I immediately envisioned it encrusted with a Swarovski design of flowers and swirls! I anchored the crystal mosaic with a simple row of teensy jet crystals across the top edge. The bottom edge is accented with these really beautiful Rose Cosmo Jet crystals that are jet on the sides with a clear top that reflects a brilliant rosey purple from the bottom center!

The crystal design is entirely made of Swarovski flat back crystals: Dark Indigo Champagne ss12, Rose Cosmo Jet ss10, Fern Green Glacial Blue ss12, Heliotrope ss7, Jet ss9, Black Diamond Aurora Borealis ss16. Crystals are glued in with a tried and true adhesive that will maintain a flexible and very strong hold but may not be immersed or soaked in water. The collar is hard to size - the opening is 5 1/4" wide at the top of the crescent design area, the opening is 5" long from back center to front center, the back opening is 4 1/4" and has flexibility when opened, the interior diameter is approximately 20". The width of the collar at the front center is 1 1/4" and the bell drops are 1 1/4" long.
