Dramatic greener turquoise beaded necklace accented with flowers and teensy turquoise stones to match. Set in 99.9% fine silver Naja and a drop turquoise pendant, beaded on silver plated, nylon coated, high quality beading wire.

I'm loving this take on the classic Naja shape!! Super interesting history of this symbol- it's thought to have originated in India or the Middle East and was used by Moors traveling to Spain as a charm to ward off evil. From Spain, the Conquistadors brought the symbol to the Navajo Natives in southwestern US who, in turn, adopted it as a decorative element in squash blossom necklaces. The Naja has been hand chased to round out the original flat shape. The beaded necklace has sterling silver components.

Necklace is adjustable and 18-20" long.

Care Instructions

Do not wear your silver jewelry in the shower or while bathing. Avoid chemicals such as soaps, perfumes, or pool chlorine. Many things will cause silver to tarnish, including atmosphere and body chemistry. If you piece has antiquing, use cloths and lightly buff the high spots only. Use caution with silver polish and polishing cloths as they will remove antiquing.
